Well Done Goods by Cyberoptix Tie Lab is making moves. The Detroit shop — known for bespoke neckwear and other unique accessories and Detroit-themed gifts — has opened a new space in Eastern Market that will offer more room for retail and production needs.

The new 4,000-square-foot Well Done Goods by Cyberoptix Tie Lab space, located in Suite A at 1515 Division St., features a production studio, jewelry workshop, warehouse, order fulfillment area, and retail storefront all on one floor. Guests can shop goods like candles, desk accessories, bags, hand-printed scarves and neckties, home décor, and the business’ new product division of jewelry and minerals.

According to the business, the store has the largest selection of ethically-sourced crystals, fossils, and minerals in Detroit. The new line features both well-known and rare minerals, including amethyst, rose quartz, and Fordite, which is made of paint chips from former Michigan auto factories.

“We celebrate the city with products about Detroit music and architecture,” says Bethany Shorb, owner of Well Done Goods by Cyberoptix Tie Lab, in a press release. “We just launched a whole new department that really rocks! Whether it’s tees, jewelry, home accessories, or our new line of crystals and minerals…we’re here for one-of-a-kind gifts for men, women, and kids, all artfully sourced and crafted.”

Shorb has been running her business for 18 years. She officially launched the Cyberoptix necktie division in 2006, and in 2016, she opened the brand’s first physical shop, on Gratiot Avenue in Eastern Market, and expanded into printing shirts and hoodies. In 2020 and 2021, Well Done Goods by Cyberoptix Tie Lab also started selling masks and matching tie and mask sets.

The new Division Street shop will be open from noon to 6 p.m., Tuesday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday, and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., on Sunday. A grand reopening event with DJs Vincent Patricola and TYLR will be held at the shop from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m. tonight.
