Even the name – MESHICO – comes from the desire to create a fresh destination for customers to enter and feel like they are on vacation in a not-so-faraway land. The vibrant blue and green palette and clean aesthetic make this eatery a refreshing departure from your conventional tex-mex locale.
The concept at MESHICO Tacos & Tequila is simple and so is the menu. Chefs focus on keeping items authentic but modern. Sharables include botana nachos and street corn. Tex-Mex favorites like fajitas are popular staples as are birria tacos and al pastor. As a result of the growing popularity of the birria, the quesa-birria – imagine a birria taco but in pizza form – has been recently added as a shareable menu item.
The vibrant tile adorned bar features an extensive tequila selection, including a number of various mezcals. Margaritas are carefully crafted with only fresh ingredients – 100% agave, fresh lime, and tequila. Also on the list are the mezcalita, paloma, and house-made muddled spicy margarita. Recently added flights feature 4 ounce pours of the classic casa, prickly pear, and azul margaritas.
A family-owned business, MESHICO Tacos & Tequila prides itself in being a family-friendly community staple and welcomes all types of gatherings and private parties. The kitchen has prepared catering packages for all types of events, from birthdays in-house, even to off-site weddings.
