For the first time since 2018, Monday Night Football is back in Detroit with the Lions playing the Las Vegas Raiders at Ford Field on Monday, Oct. 30, 2023. The game kicks off at 8:15 p.m.
During this match-up the Lions will wear their new Honolulu Blue helmet with a throwback logo, the first time they’ve worn the helmet since unveiling it in June, with the all-gray alternative uniform.
Tickets for the game start at $139 or you can watch on CBS, FOX, NBC, ESPN, or at the Detroit Lions website.
In addition, the Detroit Lions and Downtown Detroit Partnership will host a tailgate party, presented by Rocket Mortgage, at Grand Circus Park, which is just a few blocks from Ford Field, from 2-6 p.m.
This event is expected to attract thousands of football fans and will feature beer tents, presented by Bud Light, eats from area food trucks, ticket giveaways, games, and plenty of live music and entertainment.
There will even be special appearances by the Detroit Lions Cheerleaders, Roary, and the team’s drumline.
The event is free and open to the public, but the NFL’s clear bag policy will be in effect for this event. Visit the Downtown Detroit Partnership’s website for more information.
Symposia Detroit in Greektown is also hosting its own event for gameday. Stop by any time from 4:30-8 p.m. for a 24 oz prime bone-in ribeye with a Yukon potato smasher or any of the items on Symposia’s regular menu.
There will also be a tailgate party at the A Bar and Lounge that will offer special cocktails and a live DJ.
