Take a step back in time and stand toe-to-toe with a T-rex at the largest dinosaur event in America, Jurassic Quest, which is making a stop at the Suburban Collection Showplace in Novi Oct. 7-9, 2022.

During this self-guided experience, guests will take a walk through a prehistoric forest to see more than 70 life-like dinosaurs from the Jurassic and Triassic periods including an Allosaurus, Triceratops, Stegosaurus, and of course, the Tyrannosaurus Rex. Plus, prehistoric sea dwellers such as sea turtles, the earliest discovered dolphins, and a 50-foot megalodon.

Each dinosaur’s look, sound and movements are all informed by collaborations with paleontologists, which means you’re getting an authentic look at how experts believed these animals once behaved.

In addition to the dinosaurs, Jurassic Quest offers a wide variety of activities for your entire family to enjoy. Let the kids ride on the back of a dinosaur or jump in the bounce houses. Then, make a paper dinosaur craft, meet some baby dinosaurs, and see what you can dig up in the fossil pit.

Roaming dinosaurs will also make appearances throughout the event for you to take selfies with, too.

Jurassic Quest runs 9 a.m.-8 p.m. Friday, Oct. 7 and Saturday, Oct. 8, and 9 a.m.-6 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 9, at the Suburban Collection Showplace in Novi. The experience takes approximately 1-2 hours to complete.

Tickets start at $19 for adults and include live shows, arts and crafts, and the dinosaur and marine exhibits. Senior and kids pricing is available. Kids under 2 are free.

The event returns to Michigan, Nov. 4-6, 2022, in Grand Rapids. For more information on the Detroit event, or to purchase tickets, visit jurassicquest.com.
