Calling all pop culture fans! Motor City Comic Con, the largest pop culture event in Michigan since 1989, is back at the Suburban Collection Showplace in Novi, Nov. 10-12, 2023, with cosplay, movie screenings, meet-and-greets with some of your favorite characters, and much more.

This semi-annual convention, which turns 34 this year, features approximately 30 celebrity guests including Scott Patterson, of Gilmore Girls and Saw V; Marty Grabstein, the voice behind Courage the Cowardly Dog; WWE Hall of Fame member Jimmy Hart, Danielle Panabaker from Supergirl; and many others.

Attendees will also have the chance to catch some comic creators such as author and illustrator Jimmy Benton, artists Brenda Hickey and Dexter Vines, and creator Jamal Igle.

Photo ops and autographs with these guests will be available for an additional charge.

In addition to these special guest appearances, comic book and multimedia dealers from across the country who offer a wide variety of merch will be on site, along with pop culture artist and crafter booths.

But that’s not all. Motor City Comic Con also offers plenty of activities and attractions for fans of all ages.

Come in your best cosplay and participate in the cosplay contest for your shot at the $500 first place prize; explore your artistic talents in Art Alley; find your way out of an escape room; participate in sketch duels; and more.

Be sure to bring the kids along for even more fun in the Kids Den, which features family activities such as crafts, a youth cosplay contest, and games.
