Michigan’s Adventure, the largest amusement park in the state, has announced that it will be celebrating spooky season this year with an all-new event geared toward the entire family.

The event, dubbed “Tricks and Treats,” will kick off on Saturday, Sept. 16, 2023, and will feature a wide variety of seasonal activities including a trunk-or-treating trail, a costume parade, crafts, and games.

Tricks and Treats will also offer “magical and mischievous” live spooky shows including professional pumpkin carving and the Skelebration dance performance.

Plus, exclusive fall foods like the Boardwalk Boo-fett, magical potion drinks for kids, along with locally brewed beer, and Michigan-made wines for adules.

But that’s not all. The event will also see extended operations of several family rides and roller coasters including Mad Mouse, Corkscrew, Zach’s Zoomer, and Woodstock Express. You can find a full list of rides open during the event here.

“We are excited to bring this new, over-the-top Halloween experience to guests of all ages,” Camille Jourden-Mark, vice president and general manager, said in a press release. “Tricks and Treats offers something for everyone to love. Bring the entire family, kids, parents and grandparents, and make new, unforgettable memories together!”

Michigan’s Adventure is located at 4750 Whitehall Road in Muskegon and will be open for Tricks and Treats noon-6 p.m. every Saturday and Sunday through Oct. 15, 2023.

Tickets for the event are $34.99 when purchased online ($15 less than what you’d spend at the gate).
