Wine & Dine in the D
Started in 2010, and going on it's 12th anniversary year, Wine & Dine in the D is a two-part event that includes an educational panel discussion by prominent myeloma doctors, followed by a “Wine & Dine” evening, featuring delicious food and beverages from some of Detroit’s finest restaurants & breweries, jazz music and a silent auction. KIDSgala Annual Charity Event
KIDSgala was founded in 2013 by David C. McKnight, owner and founder of Emerald City Designs, with the goal of celebrating the life of children struggling from life altering illnesses and disabilities. After learning that his dear friend’s nine-year old daughter had been diagnosed with leukemia, McKnight recognized the importance of celebrating the outstanding courage of children.
