Wyandotte Street Fair: Started in 1961, this longtime festival’s 2018 lineup will feature about 200 artists and 25 restaurants. More than 200,000 visitors are expected to come out for the event, which will include musical performances by groups like Phoenix Theory, Heroes of Charlotte, and Boogie Dynomite. Through July 14. Art in the Park: More than 400 adult and children artists will gather in Plymouth for the three-day event, which will showcase jewelry, digital art, sculpture, wood, metal, ceramics, and more. Children will have the opportunity to paint a mural and participate in other activities such as face painting, glitter tattoos, henna body art, and candle making. July 13-15. No cost. Ann Arbor Art Fair: The Ann Arbor Art Fair is comprised of four outdoor events — the Street Art Fair, Ann Arbor Summer Art Fair, State Street Art Fair, and South University Art Fair —and features original artwork, live music, food, street performers, and sidewalk sales. Sterlingfest Art and Music Fair: The Sterling Heights festival will feature arts-and-crafts vendors that specialize in candles and soap, ceramics and glass, mixed-media art, clothing design, photography, and more. Belle Isle Art Fair: More than 100 artists will showcase their talent through two-dimensional art, three-dimensional art, and wearable art. The Theater Arts tent will feature The Casoe Group, Detroit Actors Theater Company, Detroit Public Theater, Detroit Repertory Theater, and The Michigan Renaissance Festival. Aug. 4 and 5. No cost. Fine Art at the Village: The Village of Rochester Hills’ fair will have an outdoor food court, entertainment, and demonstrations from artists, such as Alec LaCasse, who will be carving wood, and Jackson Dupree, who will be spray painting. Shelby Township Art Fair: The art fair will showcase more than 100 exhibitors. Artists include Ken Carr, Linda Pussehl, Lindsay Claus, Lisa Hanel, and many more. Entertainment includes musical performances by Bob and Carl, The Rick Lieder Band, Terry Stevens Duo, and Jib Brown Duo.
