The most thankful day of the year is just around the corner. If the idea of cooking Thanksgiving dinner is already sending you into a spiral or you’re looking for a fresh tradition to celebrate the giving season, consider dining at one of these six metro Detroit restaurants.

Fishbone’s Rhythm Kitchen Cafe

Open from 10 a.m. to 9:30 p.m., Fishbone Rhythm’s Kitchen Cafe offers a brunch buffet in the morning and a full Thanksgiving Dinner menu starting at 2:30 p.m at its three metro Detroit locations. The lineup includes all the classics, like turkey, stuffing, green beans, and cranberry sauce. Simple Palate

From 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., Simple Palate will host three seatings for its Thanksgiving buffet. Favorites like oven roasted turkey, mashed potatoes and gravy, and green been casserole are all part of the deal. Park 600

Based in the Royal Park Hotel, this restaurant’s Thanksgiving dishes are crafted from locally sourced ingredients. Last year’s menu included shareable plates of calamari and crispy duck tacos as well as main courses like turkey, sourced from Peacock Farm, and a seafood and chicken jambalaya. Park 600, 600 E. The Whitney

Thanksgiving dinner at The Whitney consists of three mouthwatering courses. This year’s menu includes pumpkin bisque soup, herb-roasted turkey with gravy, a seafood sauté, and the fine dining restaurant’s award-winning carrot cake. The Whitney will also host a special brunch on Thanksgiving, in which diners can enjoy meals while seated alongside Woodward Avenue during America’s Thanksgiving Parade. Apparatus Room

The Apparatus Room at the Detroit Foundation Hotel will serve breakfast, brunch, and dinner service on Thanksgiving. Diners can choose between an a la carte breakfast or breakfast buffet in the morning. And the brunch is buffet style while the dinner will be served as a traditional family-style meal. Holly Hotel

The Holly Hotel, a restaurant located in a former historic inn, serves up an extensive menu of holiday favorites for its annual Thanksgiving dinner.
