Over the course of the summer, star-struck residents of Detroit should keep their eyes out for Josh Duhamel, Mark Wahlberg, Anthony Hopkins, and Laura Haddock, all of whom will star in the fifth chapter of the popular Transformers series.
A change of scenery is in store for the cast and crew, who are jetting off from the Arizona dessert and landing in downtown Detroit to film for approximately eight weeks, according to Fox2Detroit.com. Fans have already taken to social media with photos of Paramount Pictures vehicles, which are popping up throughout the Capitol Park area.
The filmmakers are currently seeking extras, so locals who are hoping to see their faces on the big screen should send a photograph, their statistics, and contact information to transformers5extras@gmail.com. Shooting is slated to begin this week for The Last Knight, the reported title of the film.
