Total commitment to patient well-being is the key to excellence in advanced dentistry. That’s why, along with her Associates at Livonia Family Smiles, Dr. Aziza Askari succinctly sums up her practice philosophy that guides all team members every day: “It’s all about the patient.”
It’s also why Dr. Askari has centered her practice on cosmetic dentistry. She considers cosmetic dentistry an effective means of encouraging people to reverse years of neglect of their teeth and gums, as well as to become more proactive in maintaining good dental health.
A holistic approach applies to every service Livonia Family Smiles provides as their focus isn’t only on treating oral symptoms, but also, on discovering a disease or a defect, either oral or systemic, that’s causing the symptoms and then providing effective interventions and solutions. For instance, always at the forefront are the established links between periodontal disease and a plethora of systemic disease (e.g., cancer, heart disease, stroke, dementia and Alzheimer’s, osteoporosis, and even pre-term birth and low-birth-weight babies, and more) has been widely recognized.
When patients need help in achieving a healthier mouth, their physicians frequently refer them to Dr. Askari as she is held in high regard for her history of success and for having achieved advanced degrees from Temple University and the University of Michigan dental schools, as well as an esteemed mastership in the Academy of General Dentistry.
New patients receive a free 15-minute smile consultation, and one of the most popular as sought-after treatments the practice offers are beautiful and ultra-convenient same-day crowns which is such an incredible time saver.
