Hour Detroit, long known for honoring outstanding health care professionals, is proud to introduce the finalists for our inaugural Nurse of the Year Award, which celebrates the exceptional contributions of nursing professionals in metro Detroit.
Nominated by their supervisors in an online ballot, the finalists were selected by a distinguished panel of judges, composed of deans of nursing schools at Michigan universities and colleges.
The following nurses — who all showed a track record of providing exemplary patient care, demonstrating excellence across all areas of health care, and going above and beyond the call of duty — will be honored at the Oct. 23 Excellence in Care Soirée at The Colony Club in Detroit, where the recipient of the Nurse of the Year Award will be announced.
Interviews with the Nurse of the Year and the finalists will be published in the December issue of Hour Detroit.
