If dad doesn’t want to go out this Father’s Day, but still wants something special, Prime + Proper is offering pre-packaged grill kits to take home. To make the meal as easy as possible, the kits come complete with instructions, recommended grilling temperatures, and seasonings. Mane Ingredient Presents a Father’s Day Celebration
On June 17, Mane Ingredient will host a special Father’s Day celebration from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. with live poetry and entertainment, massages, drinks and food, and several gifts. There are three different packages to choose from. General admission is $35, general admission plus is $65, and VIP admission is $100. Holly Hotel Dining Club
Enjoy a Father’s Day brunch featuring wild game selections at the Holly Hotel. Guests can enjoy a menu of bison, venison, elk, and wild boar sausages as well as items from the restaurant’s regular brunch menu. The price is $35, or $28 for club members and guests of members. Guests also have the option of selecting Sunday dinner. The Whitney
The Whitney is hosting a three-course Father’s Day brunch on June 19. The first course is an Appetizer Trio, and the second course includes entrée options like Gulf Coast Shrimp Scramble, Apple Cinnamon French Toast, Brick Chicken, and Vegan Sausage Hash. The meal ends with a choice of Classic Carrot Cake, Wild Raspberry Sorbet, or the Duo of Miniature Desserts. Mimosas, fresh orange juice, coffee, and tea will be available, as will a Children’s Menu for kids 10 and under. Attendees will also receive a special gift for dad. Gandy Dancer and River Crab
Both the Gandy Dancer in Ann Arbor and Blue Water Inn’s River Crab restaurant in St. Clair — which are both part of the same hospitality group — will be serving a Father’s Day meal of slow-roasted 18 oz. prime rib dinner topped with your choice of shrimp scampi, crab cake, or coconut shrimp in addition to their usual a la carte dinner menus. The Kitchenista Cooks Father’s Day Weekend
Angela Davis, aka “The Kitchenista,” will be bringing her recipes to Frame in Hazel Park for Father’s Day weekend. Davis is a food blogger, recipe developer, and cookbook author. While her dinner service is already sold out, there are still openings for brunch on June 19. The meal includes Fried Oyster Deviled Duck Egg, Buttermilk Biscuit, Spicy Lobster, Coffee Rubbed Hanger Steak, and Banana Pudding. Public House
During it’s Sunday dinner service from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m., Public House in Ferndale will be featuring Father’s Day Steak Frites on its menu. Zingerman’s Roadhouse is offering a Father’s Day Brunch menu and a Texas BBQ platter dinner on June 19. Brunch will be served from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. and includes options like Bacon Buttermilk Biscuits, Smoked Steak & Eggs, Creole Shrimp & Grits, and Pain Perdu. The Father’s Day dinner Texas BBQ Platter will be served from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. and features Smoked Tellicherry BBQ brisket with BBQ slaw, Texas hot links, and a buttermilk biscuit.
