Symposia

Celebrate Father’s Day with a three-course meal for just $70. The Whitney

The Whitney is hosting a Father’s Day Barbecue from 3-7:30 p.m. on Sunday. The menu includes Texas beef brisket, Kansas City spare ribs, and Carolina gold pulled chicken as the mains along with collard greens, mashed Yukon gold potatoes, and more. Gandy Dancer

The Gandy Dancer is offering a three-course fixed menu for Father’s Day. Dishes on the menu, which is the only available menu on Dad’s big day, include starters like Martha’s Vineyard Salad or lobster bisque; main courses such as slow-roasted prime rib and parmesan snapper and shrimp; and four sweet dessert options. Prime + Proper

Treat dad to top-notch cuts of prime meat at home with the help of Prime + Proper. This year, they are offering to-go options for Father’s Day that includes USDA steaks dry-aged in-house for at least 28 days. Steaks on the menu include two 32-ounce Porterhouse for $300, two 18-ounce bone-in New York Strip for $170, four 8-once center cut filet mignon for $275, two 20-ounce Bone-in Ribeye steaks for $190, two 20-ounce Heritage Berkshire Double Cut Pork Chops for $100, six 6-ounce Colorado Lamb Chops for $230, and dry-aged burger kits for four for $100. Zingerman’s Roadhouse

Zingerman’s Roadhouse is offering a collection of brunch specials to celebrate Father’s Day from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Chef Bob Bennet has prepared a list of specials featuring ribeye smoked over oak with eggs and breakfast potatoes; Maryland jumbo lump crab cakes; and some regular menu items Dad is sure to love such as barbecue ribs and burgers. Joe Vicari Restaurant Group

Many of the restaurants in Joe Vicari restaurant group are celebrating Father’s Day this year. Visit Birmingham Pub, Bronze Door in Grosse Pointe Farms, The Statler in Detroit, and all Andiamo restaurants (minus the one at Metro Airport) are feeding dad for free, up to $25 ($20 for Andiamo Bistro. Marrow’s Father’s Day Cookout

Marrow Butcher Shop & Restaurant will host a Father’s Day cookout on its patio on June 16 from 1-4 p.m. Gift dad a ticket to the event and enjoy quality time together. The Apparatus Room

Detroit Foundation Hotel’s signature restaurant is offering several specials in honor of Father’s Day. Executive Chef Rece Hogerheide has crafted a menu that includes West Coast Oysters that barbecued in bourbon lime brown butter, and ramp bread crumbs; Malfadine di San Giuseppe pasta with Calabrian chile, confit garlic, parmigiano reggiano, black truffle, and smoked bread crumb; Bacon “Steak,” a house-smoked, braised and glazed slab of bacon with pickled pearl onion, confit potatoes, local greens, Carolina gold vinaigrette, and buttermilk biscuit crumb; and a Moraine Park Farms 32 ounce tomahawk steak meal for two.
