The best vacations are the ones that refresh your mind, recharge your battery, and fuel your soul. In a world dominated by AI and endless scrolling, reducing screen time and reconnecting with nature is more important than ever. Agritourism offers a perfect blend of local agriculture with visitor experiences, making it easy to unplug from the stress of daily life. This year, trade the bright lights of the big city for the rolling farmlands and open skies of northern Michigan.

Traverse Wine Coast
Wine tasting and vineyard tours are a delicious and beautiful way to connect with the land from which your food and drink are grown. The Traverse Wine Coast, made up of mirrored peninsulas and more than fifty wineries, is known as the “Napa of the Midwest”. With stunning views of Lake Michigan and award-winning wine, you cannot go wrong with Traverse City’s premier selection of vineyards.
Harmony Estate Wineries of Leelanau
Harmony Estate Wineries of Leelanau is a collective of unique properties; including Bel Lago, French Valley, and Dune Bird. Each one of these wineries has its own signature and personality but are united by their shared sustainability commitment and mission of bringing people together. From grape to glass, the boutique Bel Lago is known for its terroir-driven reds, artisan whites, and small-batch ciders. As a family-friendly tasting room and microbrewery, French Valley is a gathering space designed to foster community. Dune Bird, located in Northport, is a cozy haven with a modern tasting room and coffee bar.
Brengman Family Wines is entering its 22nd year as a staple estate of the Leelanau Peninsula. The Brengman family history is deeply rooted in agriculture and hospitality, and the generational passion is reflected by their “Truth in Dirt” philosophy. The team attributes premium wine offerings to the vineyard’s rich soil and special climate.

They source with intention, prioritizing humanely raised livestock and GMO-free, organic and local ingredients.
Mammoth Distilling has locations across northern Michigan and produces 16 different spirits, ranging from rye to gin to bourbon to flavored vodka and liqueur. The Traverse City cocktail lounge offers live music, a carefully crafted cocktail menu, and tasting flights. Create your own whiskey blend at one of Mammoth’s custom blending classes.
