Two years after opening its doors in the heart of Corktown, The Godfrey Hotel Detroit has quickly become one of the city’s most dynamic and welcoming destinations. Known for its elevated yet approachable hospitality, polished guest experience, and vibrant social atmosphere, the hotel has made its mark as a gathering place for locals and travelers alike. This holiday season, as it celebrates its second anniversary, The Godfrey is unveiling a lineup of festive events designed to capture Detroit’s seasonal spirit in a way only The Godfrey can.
A Commitment to Service, Warmth, and Community
The Godfrey Hotel Detroit’s first two years have been defined by an unwavering commitment to thoughtful service. Over the past year, the team has expanded service training, refreshed offerings in the hotel’s dining outlets, and continued refining the personalized touches that shape the guest experience from check-in to checkout.
“Our goal has always been to create a stylish, welcoming environment where guests feel genuinely taken care of,” says Nyle Flynn, Director of Food & Beverage. “Celebrating milestones like this makes us even more excited to keep elevating what we offer, from day-to-day service to special seasonal programming.”
Hamilton’s Holiday Brunch: Festive Dining with a Sparkling Twist
On Saturday, December 20, from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM, Hamilton’s introduces a brand-new signature experience: Hamilton’s Holiday Brunch, complete with a Pop-Up Ice Bar and a magically transformed winter patio.
Guests will be welcomed into a festive brunch setting featuring twinkling lights, frosted décor, and a chef-crafted menu of seasonal brunch favorites. Accompanying the dishes are chilled holiday cocktails served from the new Ice Bar, an outdoor pop-up built to bring a touch of seasonal sparkle to Corktown.

The celebration continues indoors at The Godfrey Hotel’s vintage-inspired Holiday Market in the lobby. Carefully curated with nostalgic charm, the market features local makers, handmade goods, and unique finds perfect for last-minute gifting or embracing the season’s cozy nostalgia.
Reservations are required for brunch, but both the Ice Bar and Holiday Market are open to all and can be enjoyed before or after dining.
Gatsby’s New Year’s Eve Grand Affair: A Night of Glamour and Immersion
As the year comes to a close, The Godfrey Hotel Detroit invites guests to step straight into 1926 with Gatsby’s New Year’s Eve Grand Affair, a fully immersive celebration that transforms the property into a roaring, champagne-soaked world of glamour.
This year’s event features aerialists, show-girl dancers, fire performers, live jazz, and a dinner-and-dancing program crafted to feel theatrical and larger than life. With flowing Champagne, spectacular entertainment, and opulent décor, the night blurs the line between a party and a performance.
Two Years In, and Just Getting Started
From its vibrant F&B programming to its warm, attentive service, The Godfrey Hotel Detroit enters its third year with momentum and vision. Whether stopping in for brunch, exploring the Holiday Market, or ringing in the new year Gatsby-style, guests can expect creativity, hospitality, and a spirit of celebration.
