Oliva Pasta brings a restaurant-quality experience to the comfort of your own home. Providing an intimate private dining experience that is both exclusive and memorable. The menus will feature 3-5 courses for both lunch and dinner. You will find a variety of antipasti, pasta, and desserts on their menus. To ensure an exclusive experience, they limit their guest list to ten or fewer. Guests can enjoy dishes like trofie al pesto genovese, archi al ragu bianco, raviolo al uovo, cacio e pepe insalata, citrus olive oil cake and other seasonal offerings. Oliva Pasta accommodates dietary restrictions and allergens with custom tasting menus.

Chef Andrew Dolich, a local pasta maker and chef, leads the business. With experience working at Detroit’s top restaurants, hosting local pop-up events, and has won six nationally recognized food contests in 2023/2024. Dolich brings exceptional skills and traditional pasta-making techniques to Oliva Pasta. Several of his methods include fatto a mano (handmade pasta), and pasta ruvida (rough texture pasta), a technique to enhance pasta texture that absorbs and clings to sauces. He creates doughs like pasta uovo, pasta di semola, pasta verde, pasta integrale (whole wheat), and other varieties. Oliva sources the best organic flours from the USA and Italy.

“Handmade pasta dough creates these beautiful air pockets that slowly disburse through the dough during the sheeting process, creating better texture”, Andrew says.

Oliva Pasta offers one-on-one in home or virtual pasta classes, providing a personalized and hands-on learning experience. Every third Friday, he will be hosting group pasta classes at The Michigan Folk School in Ann Arbor, Mi. Participants have the opportunity to gain experience in traditional pasta making techniques directly from Chef Andrew Dolich, who shares his exceptional skills and knowledge. Oliva Pasta’s one-on-one or group classes are designed to enhance your appreciation for the art of pasta making.

Pricing is based on the number of guests and courses, making it affordable for larger groups. Bookings include all equipment and tableware, with the 5-course tasting menu ranging from $400 for 2 guests to $1,200 for 10 guests. The 3-course lunch and dinner menu ranging from $350 for 2 guests to $1,050 for 10 guests. 3-coarse menus also include bread service.

Whether it’s a special occasion or a casual gathering, Oliva Pasta is a wonderful choice for an intimate lunch or dinner.
