Stony Creek Metropark Fireworks

Cars Under Stars Fireworks Spectacular
Gates open at 5 p.m. for this event and fireworks start at 9:45 p.m. Along with the show, attendees can enjoy food trucks, craft beer stands, and live music from the metro Detroit dance-rock cover band Vavoom. $5 for Pontiac residents, $10 for walk-ins. Ford Fireworks
The Ford Fireworks will light up the Detroit Riverfront with more than 10,000 pyrotechnic effects. The theme for this year’s show is “Hey Detroit, The Sky Shines for You.” The show can be viewed in-person or virtually via WDIV Local 4’s live broadcast. WJR and Paul W. Festival of the Hills Fireworks
Rochester Hills hosts its Festival of the Hills at Borden Park each year. The fireworks show, which is the largest display in Oakland County, is the finale to an evening of family-friendly entertainment, games, food, and fun. The festival includes cornhole games, a petting zoo, a rock-climbing wall, and various other events from sponsors like Beaumont Heath, Pro-Line, and Meijer. Friday Night Fireworks
Following the Tigers game against the Kansas City Royals on July 1, Comerica Park presents a fireworks display. Tickets are still available and are necessary for viewing the fireworks from inside the park. The first 10,000 fans in line will receive a Fourth of July-themed Miller Lite T-shirt. Kensington Metropark Fireworks
Beginning at 10 p.m., The Huron-Clinton Metroparks Fireworks always attract a massive turnout. A Metroparks vehicle pass is required for entrance, so plan accordingly. Clarkston Independence Fest Fireworks
Each year, Clarkston hosts its Independence Fest at Clintonwood Park. The day begins at 11 a.m. and includes games, pony rides, inflatables, and food. White Lake Fireworks
White Lake is known for its Fourth of July celebration. Following the annual boat parade, the White Lake community hosts a fireworks show over the water. Field of Flight Fireworks
The Field of Flight Air Show & Balloon Festival offers two separate fireworks displays to celebrate the Fourth. The 15-minute displays are scheduled for 10 p.m. on July 2 and 4, and they’ll be set to patriotic music as well as rock, pop, and country tunes. Frankenmuth Volksläufe Fireworks
German for “The People’s Race,” Volksläufe is a celebration of friends, family, community, and fitness. With 2K, 5K, and 10K options, the racing event is fun for all ages and fitness levels. The fireworks show takes place at the end of the first day of races and is visible throughout Frankenmuth. The 35th annual Wolverine Lake Tiki Night features music, food, and fireworks. It’s a major event for the community and a celebration that many look forward to all year. This all-day festival celebrates Independence Day with tons of family-friendly fun.
