Affirmations LGBTQ+ Community Center creates welcoming, affirming spaces where LGBTQ+ people across southeast Michigan can connect, access support, build community, and thrive fully as themselves.
// KEY SERVICES PROVIDED
Affirmations provides programs and services designed around the needs of LGBTQ+ people across metro Detroit, including affirming mental health care, youth programming, support and discussion groups, and resource navigation. Adults connect through regular social groups, classes, events, health and wellness activities, arts and cultural programming, and welcoming community space. The center also provides free HIV/STI testing and vaccine clinics, a free computer lab, and food pantry access — helping people find support, connection, and belonging.

- Pedal for Pride + Prom ReDeux: A fundraising ride and a signature prom for adults.
- Service Saturdays: Flexible, hands-on volunteer days at the center.
