Lizzo will perform her biggest Detroit concert to date this fall.

The Detroit native will take to the Little Caesars Arena stage on Oct. 6. Ahead of the show, Lizzo’s next album, Special, will be released in July.

Detroit Auto Show sets date for its first-ever indoor-outdoor event.

Scheduled for Sept. 14-25, the auto show has plans for vehicle activations, free community activities, the return of its Charity Preview, and a rebranded logo.

Detroit Lions select U-M’s Aidan Hutchinson as the No. 2 pick in NFL Draft.

Hutchinson grew up in Livonia and played high school ball near the team’s training facility. “It was the Lions all the way,” he said. “The whole draft process I wanted them to pick me.”

A new restaurant and tiki bar will open in the former Antihero location.

Tigerlily will open in the Ferndale space sometime this year. It will serve Asian cuisine, feature a sushi bar, and house a separate bar called Mai Tiki.

Mike Posner shares sentimental video with Big Sean following Coachella.

Big Sean brought out Posner as his special guest during his set at the festival’s second weekend. In an Instagram video, Posner thanks him for the experience and reflects on their friendship.

Known as the Floathouse of Saugatuck, the Airbnb is located at Tower Marine on Kalamazoo. There’s access to the waterfront pool at the marina, and it comes with its own kayaks.

Detroit Riverwalk is named the best in the nation.

For the second year in a row, the riverwalk was ranked No. 1 in USA Today’s reader’s poll. The riverwalk also recently made our roundup of the top recreation spots in the area.
