Dress for 2050 Gala

DesignConnect — a local nonprofit dedicated to connecting Detroit Pontiac students to careers in art and design — held the Dress for 2050 gala on Nov. 13 at College for Creative Studies’ Taubman Center. Guests were asked to dress in futuristic fashion or cocktail attire, and the event featured a strolling dinner, premium wine and open bar, fashion contest, DJ, auctions, raffles, and live performance. The event, which benefited Detroit youth, also highlighted the work of local high school students who participate in DesignConnect’s programs.
