Salute to Veterans: Breakfast with the Bishop for St. Anne’s Mead took place on Nov. 11 at The Community House of Birmingham. Hosted by Bishop Bonnie A. Perry of the Episcopal Diocese of Michigan, the event was emceed by WXYZ & TV 20 anchor Alicia Smith and featured bagpiper Kim Johnson. In addition to the breakfast, the event benefiting St. Anne’s Mead Assisted Living facility also featured several veterans who spoke about their experience in the armed services.
