The United Community Family Services/Chaldean American Ladies of Charity (UCFS-CALC) held their 2026 Timeless Hope Gala on Sept. 10 at the Shenandoah Country Club in West Bloomfield. The event, which is the charity’s largest annual fundraiser, also served to celebrate the group’s 65th anniversary. CBS Detroit’s Sandra Ali served as the event’s emcee and posthumously honored Julie Hakim and Norma Dalaly Hakim, founding members of the service organization.
