    2023 Holiday Gift Guide

    Explore the Birmingham Shopping District’s Holiday Gift Guide for unique and trendy gifts for everyone on your list, and exclusive recipes and décor tips from your favorite downtown Birmingham shops and restaurants.

    Late Night Thursdays: December 7, 14 and 21, 5 – 8 p.m.

    On Thursdays through December 21, visit Downtown Birmingham from 5 – 8 p.m. for Late Night Thursdays! Shop extended retail hours, and enjoy free sweet treats, professional carolers and more. Hop aboard the free Holiday Trolley for a fun and festive way to get around town.

    As an added bonus, the Birmingham Shopping District’s holiday helpers will be distributing $1,000 in free gift cards to random shoppers each night. You won’t want to miss this fun event!

    Santa House, Horse-Drawn Carriage Rides and Free Goodies: Weekends

    On weekends throughout the season, visit beautiful Shain Park to see Santa’s quaint home and take a free horse-drawn carriage ride.

    On select Saturdays, enjoy free nostalgic holiday treats like roasted chestnuts and decadent homemade hot chocolate as you stroll through downtown. Visit the tent at the corner of Maple Road and Old Woodward Avenue from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. (while supplies last).
