Rugiero Promise Foundation’s 12th Annual Casino Royal “Carnevale”

In 2011, Anthony Rugiero established the Rugiero Promise Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit volunteer only organization. The Rugiero Promise Foundation is committed to improving quality of life in the community and extends help to individuals of all means, bringing hope and the promise of a better future.

Throughout the year, the Rugiero Promise Foundation provides longstanding support for several annual charity events to raise funds and awareness for local charities. In 2008, Antonio Sr. passed away from complications due to Diabetes. Inspired by their desire to honor their father’s memory – Anthony and his brothers contemplated their dad’s hobbies and realized all he did was work, but he did enjoy traveling to Las Vegas for the annual Food Show with his sons. These memories of their trips to Las Vegas with their dad are what motivated the creation of Rugiero Casino Royale.

We are pleased to invite you to participate in the 12th Annual Casino Royale Carnevale on Saturday, October 8, 2022, at the Ford Community and Performing Arts Center. We have been blessed over the years with our Event Chairs such as Jerry Ruggirello, Dr. Stephen Shaya, and Stuart and Maxine Frankel. Last year we broke all records in attendance and “Fun” providing a festive atmosphere that dazzled guests throughout the evening – this is no ordinary fundraiser. This year our Event Chairman is Matt Simoncini, a well-respected entrepreneur and philanthropist in the community, who will share his network and passion for the cause.

Casino Royale is a signature event for Rugiero Promise Foundation, a 501c3, all volunteer organization. The Antonio Rugiero Diabetes Research Funs continues to be a key partner with Michigan Medicine at the University of Michigan, Division of Metabolism, Endocrinology & Diabetes and their cutting-edge research and treatment of Diabetes.

It is a high energy event that includes grand reception, celebrated strolling dinner stations, open bar, Casino Wild gaming on authentic tables & professional dealers, dancing, raffles, prizes, and a silent and live auction with noted auctioneer Christopher Aslanian. Live Entertainment featuring best of Detroit, Killer Flamingo Band and Neo-Classical Violins.
