The Top 10 Cannabis Products Delivered to Detroit

Lantern Cannabis
-
March 3, 2021

Hour Detroit readers can enjoy $10 OFF their first Lantern order and free delivery with promo code HOUR10.

Lantern has quickly made a name for itself by providing unparalleled access to recreational cannabis to residents of the Detroit Metro area. Before Lantern began its delivery service, Detroit residents looking to purchase legal adult-use cannabis either needed a medical card or had to travel to a dispensary outside of city limits. Through Lantern’s dispensary partnerships and delivery network, Detroit residents can now shop over hundreds of cannabis products from local Michigan dispensaries without ever needing to leave the house.

“Delivery means broader access to cannabis”, explains Miranda Cramer, Budtender-In-Residence at Lantern. “You no longer have to drive across town or even leave the city to get the product you want.”

The Top 10 Cannabis Products Delivered to Detroit

According to Cramer, Lantern is grateful to be able to offer Detroit consumers access to not only their favorite strains but also a wide range of superb cannabis products and brands that proved to be a hit in 2020.

Among the crowd pleasers are Indica Gummies by KushyPunch, an award-winning brand based in Southern California. These 10-mg gummies are a favorite among consumers for the variety of uses and relatively quick onset for an edible, according to Cramer. “Our customers enjoy the mellow effects as they unwind towards bedtime,” adds Cramer. Also in demand are KushyPunch’s Sativa Gummies, which are bursting with strawberry flavor and what Cramer describes as “euphoric energy.”

Two local Michigan brands’ edibles also graced the top products from 2020, including Barracuda 1:1 Milk Chocolate Bar by Detroit Fudge Company, as well as the Chill Out 1:1 Drink Enhancer by Fluresh. “The drinkable is a much faster onset. People report feeling effects within 15 minutes versus waiting about an hour for traditional edibles to kick in,” notes Cramer.

While flower is the overall most popular category delivered to Detroit, the most popular flower products span a range of strains. Cloud Cover’s White 99 Flower is a cross between the popular Cinderella 99 and The White strains, creating a sativa-dominant hybrid designed to elevate one’s mood and offer an energy boost. “It’s received five stars all around from customers,” adds Cramer. Redbud Roots’ Pre-Packaged Flower and Sozo’s Biscotti Flower were also favorites.

Three strains from Pleasantrees round out locals Top 10. Wedding Mints, an indica-dominant hybrid strain, quickly rose into high demand with its tantalizing mix of musk, mint, and uplifting effects – ideal for any celebratory occasion. Meanwhile, Tiki Cookies, a cross between the popular Pleasantrees’ Cookie and Tiki Rain strains, is known to offer many customers a spark of motivation and a sense of calm. “Then there’s Doughlato, which produces a fruity, earthy aroma,” says Cramer. “It’s actually quite smooth, the perfect indica for a night in watching a movie.”

Promising Affordable, Dependable Cannabis Delivery throughout Detroit

While 2021’s popular trends remain to be seen, one thing that won’t change is Lantern’s dedication to reliable and affordable delivery service for Detroit Metro residents. “We offer a $50 order minimum for delivery, whereas most other delivery services require a minimum order of $100” says Cramer. “Lantern’s low delivery minimum is just another way that we strive to make cannabis more accessible to new and experienced consumers alike. Some products can even be delivered in 60 minutes or less!”
