This year, the Rugiero Promise Foundation invites its sponsors to an exclusive opportunity to see “Where the Money Goes.” Although the annual Casino Royale gala is paused for 2024, we are excited to announce a special sponsor-only reception at Michigan Medicine’s North Campus Research Complex on November 6, 2024. This intimate event will allow our valued supporters to engage directly with the cutting-edge diabetes research transforming lives in our community.

An Intimate Reception to See Real Progress

Hosted by Dr. Peter Arvan and his esteemed team, the reception will feature guided lab tours and interactive presentations that highlight the significant advancements made possible through the generous contributions of our sponsors. Michigan Medicine has made strides in prevention, treatment, and complications related to both type 1 and type 2 diabetes, as well as obesity.

For those unable to attend in person, WJR will broadcast live updates and interviews with researchers, ensuring that our larger community of supporters can still engage and celebrate the progress achieved through their ongoing donations.
