Mosaic Evolution

Mosaics are an ancient art form, traditionally created from meticulously arranged pieces of stone or colored glass. But over time, mosaic artists have expanded the breadth of their craft, by implementing unique materials, applications, and techniques. Northville Art House exhibition Mosaic Evolution celebrates these developments. No cost. Through Feb. 12. Northville Art House, 215 W. Cady St., Northville; northvillearthouse.org

An Evening with Bruce Dickinson

Though best known as the frontman for iconic heavy metal band Iron Maiden, Bruce Dickinson is a true multi-hyphenate. And his wide-ranging experiences as a motivational speaker, actor, podcaster, New York Times best-selling author, aviation pilot, and international fencer have given him plenty to talk about. An up-close and personal evening with Dickinson will offer a humorous and often satirical first-hand look into the musician’s perspective on the world, complete with anecdotes from his time with Maiden and his daring exploits, as well as some of his darker moments. $35+. Jan. 30. The Fillmore Detroit, 2115 Woodward Ave., Detroit; screamforme.com

The Sicilian Tenors

The Sicilian Tenors have showcased the glory of the Italian tenor voice everywhere from Los Angeles to Las Vegas to New York’s Carnegie Hall. Their stage show delivers a diverse setlist, swinging from the thrilling high notes of “Nessun Dorma” to passion-filled arias from The Phantom of The Opera. But Caruso, Scaccio, and Vitale keep the evening light, interspersing these poignant ballads with bouts of playful humor. $28+. Jan. 28. Andiamo Celebrity Showroom, 7096 E. 14 Mile Road, Warren; andiamoshowroom.com
