Frankfort Fall Festival
Celebrate the season’s bounty at the Frankfort Fall Festival on Saturday, October 10. The idyllic port town is known for its lakefront charm and the North Pier Lighthouse, creating the perfect backdrop for the autumnal festivities. The day’s events run the gamut: Expect a riverside 5k, craft fair, parade, live music in the beer tent, pumpkin decorating, cornhole tournament, alpaca petting, and more. Chairlift Rides at Crystal Mountain
Next, it’s time to head out to the beautiful Crystal Mountain Resort. Catch a scenic chairlift ride and experience panoramic views of four counties at the summit. Zombie Run
The apocalypse is coming…It’s the 18th Annual Zombie Run! A Halloween tradition hosted by Right Brain Brewery, this spooky 5k race will have you running for your life. At 9am on October 31st, undead participants will take off on the 3.1-mile run/walk. Afterwards, stick around for the medal ceremony, costume prize giveaway, music, refreshments, and zombie mingling. Bell’s Iceman Cometh Challenge
Do you have what it takes to enter the 2026 Iceman Cometh Challenge? On the first Saturday in November, thousands of athletes will compete in the 30-mile point-to-point mountain bike race, facing all the elements that come with this time of year in Traverse City. Ages range from 1.5 years old to 80 years old, and abilities range from first timers to Olympians.
