Nicole Antakli DelSignore is the co-founder and managing partner of restaurant e Fiori in Birmingham. Crain’s Detroit Business placed her on its “Notable Leader” and “40 Under 40” lists, and Ernst & Young named her regional “Entrepreneur of the Year.” Whether at work, around town, or attending a formal gala, Antakli DelSignore creates looks that feel intentional, empowering, and uniquely her own.
How has your style evolved over the years?
The evolution is through refinement rather than reinvention. My style is rooted in timeless elegance with a strong feminine influence, which I always admired about my mother’s style. I’ve become more intentional about embracing quality, tailoring, and pieces that transcend trends.
How does your style shift depending on the different roles you play in life: at work, at events, at home?
Finding the balance between classic refinement, femininity, and allure allows me to create a look that feels both enduring and effortless. For social gatherings, I trend toward a slightly more sensual approach, whether through a striking neckline, a dramatic silhouette, or luxurious fabric that brings a touch of glamour and intrigue while maintaining dignity.
Where do you shop?
Typically, wherever I receive the most genuine service. Saks Fifth Avenue and Neiman Marcus at Somerset have always honored a beautiful selection and a lovely variety of designers.
If you could raid anyone’s closet, whose would it be?
Grace Kelly.
Do you have a guilty pleasure fashion item?
La Perla lingerie.
Who is your favorite designer or brand?
Tom Ford has been a long-standing favorite. Dior, Valentino, and Chloé are also on my list of go-to selections.
What is your go-to outfit?
Nothing feels more authentic to me than a beautiful dress paired with a stunning pair of high-heeled shoes. It represents the balance I strive for in both style and life: elegance with ease, confidence with grace, and timeless beauty with a classic spirit.
What do you think your closet says about you?
Confidence, quality, and femininity.
What item in your wardrobe has the most sentimental value and why?
My silk neckties and pocket squares because they are inspired by my father and his fashion sense. And my silk scarves because they remind me of my mother’s grace and beauty. My parents taught me that an exceptional accessory has the power to transform an outfit.
