Baker College is laser-focused on one mission: Helping students to secure a rewarding and lasting career. Baker is a regionally accredited, private, not-for-profit institution offering associate, bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral degrees. They’re proud to be one of the most affordable four-year institutions in the state, providing millions in scholarships for students each year.
Baker aligns its programs with the high-growth industries of today and beyond. Fields of study include finance, marketing, nursing, occupational therapy, veterinary technology, computer science, cybersecurity, psychology, and criminal justice. They also offer specialized programs through their affiliates, The Auto/Diesel Institute of Michigan and the Culinary Institute of Michigan. All students gain valuable work experience via an internship before graduating. True to their not-for-profit roots, even high school students can earn college credits, at little or no cost, through Baker’s Running Start initiatives.
Baker College’s footprint stretches across Michigan with five campus locations. Construction on a new Royal Oak campus, slated to open in the fall of 2022, is underway. Safe and affordable housing options are available at select campuses. They also offer a variety of 100-percent online degree programs. Whether on campus or online, students enjoy deep, meaningful engagement with faculty and students, alongside a diverse collection of student life opportunities.
