Feast Brings the Taste and Ambience of Downtown Dining to Macomb County

Feast, is among one of the newest restaurants to open in Macomb County. Dishing up a special “feast” that includes a dash of excellent service, a touch of the finest chefs and cooks in metro Detroit, and a sprinkling of years of restaurant experience — all served up in a dynamic, yet warm and inviting space.

The restaurant, which opened in Chesterfield in March, also offers an incredible selection of beer and wine, including cocktails made with house-infused spirits unique to Feast.

“We want to offer Macomb residents the feel of dining downtown Detroit but without leaving their backyard,” says nationally recognized Executive Chef Jared Bobkin. “We provide guests a space that is perfect for a guys or girls night out as well as for a couple celebrating their anniversary or a group just looking for a special meal and experience.”
And what exactly is on the menu?

“We are a modern American-style restaurant that focuses on scratch cooking,” Bobkin says. “We have everything from steaks to seafood and even hand-made pizza dough. And don’t forget about our freshly made pasta!”

Bobkin, who has a degree from The Art Institute of Michigan Culinary and has been a part of several other restaurant openings in southeast Michigan, is best known by his two appearances on Hell’s Kitchen with Gordon Ramsay.

“I love working with my hands and get very excited to create dishes and see people just genuinely enjoy them,” he says. “My favorite things is when you have a table full of people that are chit chatting and then the food comes, and it goes silent. Nothing else is more of a pat on the back than the silence of everyone at a table just enjoying each bite of food. When I hit that kitchen door, it’s game time and everything else fades away. I just love what I’m doing and where I’m doing it.”

Great food begins with great people, and Bobkin says Feast presents an impressive lineup of managers, chefs, cooks, and bartenders, along with wait staff.

Bobkin says the owners of Feast have previously owned other venues in the Macomb area, and they encourage the management team to be creative and unique while not straying too far from serving what guests recognize and appreciate.

The impressive team includes General Manager Jason Sanborn, Assistant General Manager Kaley Leuffgan, and Sous Chef Paige Scarpace.

“Our service staff as well as back of the house are a mixture of career restaurant employees with years of experience and young, hungry up and comers,” Bobkin says. “Regardless of who the guest is, we strive for the best dining experience possible.”
And that “best experience” is enjoyed in an amazing space.

“We are really proud of how the restaurant turned out,” Bobkin says. “The design was to make it simple, yet elegant. We have large, comfortable bar stools along with nice wide booths. In our parlor, we used local vendors to make whiskey barrels for our cocktail tables as well as custom bar chairs for maximum comfort. And the show stopper are the hanging lights that are front and center when you walk in, giving it a very cool vibe.”

Cool. Unique. Special. Fresh. Welcome to Feast!
