Every business owner has felt this: doing great work and still watching a competitor get noticed first. Being good and being seen are two different jobs. Stratmedia handles the second one. Since 2023, the Michigan-based content studio has produced content for some of the region’s most recognizable names, including Lady Jane’s and the Michigan nonprofit Wicked Awesome Wishes, alongside national brands like Courtyard by Marriott and Saks Fifth Avenue.
That early track record led Stratmedia to become a recurring production and sponsorship partner of Hour Media, producing content for DBusiness’s 30 in Their Thirties as a sponsor alongside presenting sponsor the Detroit Pistons, and sponsoring Hour Detroit’s Top Docs.
For co-founders Aditya Patel and Amartya Tiwari, metro Detroit is home, and it’s where they’ve chosen to build. Working here, they kept seeing the same pattern: a genuinely great business losing customers to a competitor two exits down with better content. Patel, founder and CEO, and Tiwari, creative director and co-founder, built Stratmedia around a simple idea: content isn’t marketing, it’s real estate. “Build it right, and it appreciates,” Patel says. “Ads will grow your business, but your brand is what’s still there when they stop.”
Tiwari is the one who turns that philosophy into something a camera can capture. “Anyone can point a camera at something nice,” he says. “The job is making a stranger stop scrolling and actually care.” In practice, that means content built to last, then paired with the work that makes sure people find it. That range, from what’s on screen to what gets it seen, is what turns a single video into a growth engine.
A handful of specific campaigns show what that looks like in practice. A 90-day short-form campaign for a multi-location automotive brand generated more than 135,000 views and 5,400 clicks, the kind of local visibility that turns into booked business. A single launch video for a personal brand client became the foundation the business launched on, driving the first wave of inbound buyer interest before the doors even opened. For a pediatric dental practice, the same approach turned attention into new patient bookings.
Stratmedia calls the model a growth partnership built for the long haul. The plan going forward is simple: keep proving the same pattern holds, one brand at a time. Learn more about the studio’s work at stratmedia.co.
