The metro Detroit dining scene has you covered when it comes to celebrating New Year’s Eve right. From upscale seatings at Pernoi in Birmingham to inventive a la carte specials at Karl’s in the Siren Hotel, there’s plenty of ways to party.

Detroit Shipping Co. is inviting its guests back to the ’90s this New Year’s Eve. With no cover, guests can enjoy ’90s-inspired cocktails, tunes, and giveaways. Andiamo is hosting a variety of New Year’s Eve events. At Andiamo’s Detroit, Clarkston, Sterling Heights, and Livonia locations, enjoy food, craft cocktails, a Champagne toast, and live entertainment as you ring in 2020. Birmingham newcomer Pernoi is offering two New Year’s Eve tasting menus. The first seating, starting at 5:30 p.m. for $100 a person, features dishes like Madai Sashimi, Potato Crusted Turbot, and Tortellini. The second seating, starting at 9 p.m. for $175 a person, features the aforementioned menu items along with Seared Maine Scallop, Manchester Farm Quail, and Pernoi Sliders. Situated on the ground floor of the Vinton Building, Besa is ringing in the new year with a special four-course menu. Start with a Greek Salad or Hamachi Hot Pot before indulging in a second course of Chilled Shrimp or Mushroom Ravioli, a third course with options including Ribeye Cap Steak and Loch Duart Salmon, and, finally, Milk Chocolate Ganache or Vanilla Bean Panna Cotta for dessert. Swing into downtown Detroit for Karl’s New Year’s Eve a la carte specials, which include a Shrimp Cocktail, Butternut Squash Ravioli with Sage Butter Sauce, and Pineapple Upside-Down Cake. Soul’s Dining and Entertainment

Soul’s New Year’s Eve Masquerade Party features a massive seafood boil buffet. From 9 p.m. – 11 p.m., Soul’s is serving up snow crab legs, shrimp, corn, potatoes, and smoked beef sausage as part of its New Year’s special. After 11 p.m., the normal menu will remain available until 1 a.m. A live DJ, cash bar, and midnight Champagne toast are also guaranteed to make this a night to remember. The Royce

The Royce is inviting its guests to bid adieu to 2019 at the restaurant’s Another Epic New Year’s Eve Party. An open bar will be available, as well as appetizers and sweet treats. To top it all off, a charity raffle will be held to support The Heat and Warmth Fund, a local organization that provides energy assistance to Michigan families. Mon Jin Lau

Mon Jin Lau is offering an intimate alternative with its Masquerade New Year’s Eve Dinner. With limited seating and a laid-back environment, Mon Jin Lau is the perfect place to celebrate with close friends and family. You can still enjoy live music, and Mon Jin Lau favorites like seafood spicy noodles, chicken fried rice, and Budda’s Delight. Lady of the House

Enjoy a prix-fixe dinner menu at Corktown-based Lady of the House this New Year’s Eve.
