The metro Detroit dining scene has you covered when it comes to celebrating New Year’s Eve right. From upscale seatings at The Whitney in Detroit to a 1920’s-themed event at Black Pearl in Ann Arbor, these local restaurants are offering plenty of ways to ring in 2023.

Andiamo

Andiamo is hosting a variety of New Year’s Eve events at all five locations. Enjoy food, craft cocktails, a champagne toast, and live entertainment as you ring in 2023. Andiamo Bloomfield, Fenton, Warren, and Livonia will host a champagne toast at midnight. Meanwhile, Andiamo Detroit is having a New Year’s Eve Bash in their Wintergarden. Basan Detroit

This new Detroit restaurant is ringing in 2023 with a five-course prix fixe meal and drink pairings for $125 a person. The menu for this event will be announced closer to New Year’s Eve, and will be guided by Basan Detroit‘s culinary and bar team. Substitutions are unavailable during this event. Besa

Situated on the ground floor of the Vinton Building, Besa is ringing in the new year with a special four-course menu. Start with your choice of roasted marrow of bones, a village salad or broiled oysters before indulging in a second course of fig and onion tortellini, chilled potato leek soup, or sea scallops. There’s also a third course with options including veal osso buck, roasted maitake mushroom, duck breast or prawn kabob, and, finally, dark chocolate cheesecake or cucumber lime sorbet for dessert. Black Pearl

Come dressed in your best roaring ’20s attire for a New Year’s Eve party themed to “The Great Gatsby.” The menu will feature dishes such as tuna tartare, calamari, filet mignon, Korean short rib, and much more. There will also be a best dressed contest, New Year’s Eve swag, music spun by DJ AO, and a champagne toast at midnight. Reservations are required. Black Pearl, 302 S. Blue Llama Jazz Club

Say goodbye to 2022 with two dinner and a show events for New Year’s Eve. The festivities kick off with the early show at 6 p.m. featuring a performance by jazz vocalist, arranger, composer, and educator Olivia Van Goor. Tickets are $150 a person and include a three course tasting menu. The second event starts at 8:30 p.m. and features a performance by Brandon Rose & Soul Therapy along with a four course tasting menu. Brew Detroit

Café Cortina

This year’s New Year’s Eve menu at Café Cortina features antipasto, polis, Capesante, Brasato Di Manzo, and more artisan Italian cuisine. Each person is $125 per person, plus gratuity. Eddie Merlot’s

Forest Grill

Joe Muer’s is celebrating New Year’s Eve in Detroit and Bloomfield Hills. Enjoy the restaurant’s seafood, aged meats, and sushi along with live entertainment. A celebratory Champagne toast will take place at midnight. New Year’s Eve starts early at Luciano’s with a special menu and seatings beginning at 3 p.m. Later in the evening, they host their annual NYE party, which features a special five-course menu that includes everything from shrimp cocktail and Caesar salad to rigatoni palomino, chicken picante, rib eye ai ferri. Oak & Reel

Hour Detroit’s 2022 Restaurant of the Year is ringing in the New Year with a menu that features some of the restaurant’s staple dishes as well as some holiday specials. Choose from three-courses for $105 a person, or four-courses and a sparking toast for $140 a person. The á la carte menu will not be available during the event. San Morello

San Morello is offering two seating times for their New Year’s Eve celebration. The first seating will feature the eatery’s á la care menu alongside celebratory specials. The second seating will offer a four-course prix fixe menu that includes wagyu beef tartare crostini, lobster risotto, ravioli al novo, lamb shank, slow-cooked prime rib, and much more. The Apparatus Room

The Apparatus Room at the Detroit Foundation Hotel is offering two seatings for a prix-fixe meal in celebration of New Year’s Eve. The first seating is at 5 p.m. and features a five-course menu of canapés, celery root and apple, poached halibut and more. Tickets are $100. The second seating is $140 and features two additional courses and menu additions including Siberian caviar, and manchego cheesecake. All diners will get a complimentary glass of Lallier champagne. The Peterboro

Head to Detroit’s Historic Chinatown to celebrate both the New Year and the reopening of this community staple. Tickets for the event are $100 a person and include one Red Dragon  welcome shot, two drink tickets, and a small plate buffet. The Royce

The Royce is inviting its guests to bid adieu to 2022 at the restaurant’s annual New Year’s Eve Party. An open bar will be available, as well as light snacks and a champagne toast at midnight. The Whitney

Detroit’s most iconic mansion is serving up a four-course menu to ring in the New Year along with a champagne toast at midnight. Three Blind Mice Irish Pub

The 2023 New Year’s Eve Bash will feature music spun by a live DJ, shot samples and a champagne toast at midnight.
