East Riverfront Uniroyal Promenade to Open Next Weekend

The Detroit Riverfront Conservancy has announced that it will celebrate the completion of the 3.5-mile East Riverfront with the opening of the Uniroyal Promenade. This milestone marks the completion of the Conservancy’s 20-year and $200 million plan to revitalize Detroit’s riverfront, which attracts 3.5 million visitors each year, and connect the former site of Joe Louis Arena to Belle Isle with a series of parks and trails.
