Detroit Symphony Orchestra’s Opening Night Gala & Concert

The Detroit Symphony Orchestra held its opening night gala and concert on Sept. 26. Kicking off the 2026-27 season, the gala honored DSO’s Chair Emeritus Phillip Wm. Fisher, a long-standing community leader, philanthropist, and champion of the DSO. The concert performance of Lalo’s ’Symphonie Espagnole’ featured Grammy Award-winning violinist Joshua Bell.
