Live out your dreams of being in a candy-filled village at an immersive pop-up experience coming to the Oakland Mall on March 16.
Choco Town is a Fever Original event that transports its visitors to a delicious, candy village filled with many activities including make-your-own chocolate bar, candy taste-testing, games, and many more surprises.
Fever Original is the leading global live-entertainment platform that created Van Gogh : The Immersive Experience — the winner of Today’s Best Reader’s Choice Award — Stranger Things: The Experience, and Candlelight Concerts.
“I can’t sugar coat it. We’re really excited to bring Choco Town to the metro Detroit area.” Mary Fuhrman, the Associate Event Producer of Fever said in a press release.
Choco Town’s charming world is interactive at every step and is a dream come true for those who have a sweet tooth. It is also equipped with backdrops that are perfect for selfies, and that showcase the magical scenes and memories being made.
Some of the features in Choco Town include houses, fountains, chocolate-chip rain, along with a Cotton Candy Salon, and banana-split swings that are all based on your favorite sweets and chocolate.
Visitors are urged to engage their five senses throughout their time at the village. Taste buds will tingle as you try the sweet treats, smells of chocolate and candy will fill the air, and you’ll be able to explore even more with Choco Town’s hands-on activities.
“It’s one of the most delicious, fun and Instagram-able experiences our guests will have this year — fully immersive and something they’ll never forget,” said Fuhrman.
Choco Town is designed for all ages, and will be located on the first floor of the Oakland Mall starting on March 16. Tickets are currently on sale. They run $18 for kids ages 4-12 and $25 for ages 13 and up. Students and seniors are $20 per person. Kids under 3 don’t need a ticket. There is also a Family/Group bundle available for $20 per person. Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
When you purchase your ticket, you must select an appointment time and visit Choco Town at that designated time and date.
