Libertine, a new apothecary shop in Birmingham’s Rail District, carries a finely curated selection of home and body goods. Located within women’s fashion retailer Milieu at 2163 Cole St., the shop is the latest retail concept from Rita Sayegh, who previously worked at Mill’s Pharmacy and Apothecary as the store’s creative director and buyer. From luxurious hand soaps to unique tea blends, here’s just a few of the items worth checking out on your next visit.

Ortigia Fico d’India-scented crystals diffuser, $45.

Made in Italy, the modern-day potpourri features fig and cedar-scented gum arabic crystals.

Briard parfum kami scented soap sheets, $22 each.

Lather up in scents of violet and tonka bean or bergamot and rosemary with Briard’s luxe soap sheets.
