Valentine’s Day is right around the corner, and restaurants across the metro Detroit area are offering tasty dining experiences to celebrate the romantic holiday. Check online or call ahead to make a reservation.

Luciano’s Italian Restaurant

The Valentine’s Day menu at Luciano’s includes cold appetizers like roasted sweet peppers and marinated octopus, and hot appetizers like escargot or mussels possilipo. There’s also three choices of salad along with chicken dishes, steaks, pasta, veal, and fish. Reservations required. A $50 refundable deposit is required with your reservation. Adelina

On Friday and Saturday, Adelina is offering a four-course preset menu that offers Wagyu meatball, Caesar salad, or Mediterranean salad as your starter; rigatoni or Casarecce for your pasta; branzino, lamb chops, filet mignon, or chicken cacciatore as your main; and Chef Gabriela Botezan’s signature Valentine’s dessert. Adelina, 1040 Woodward Ave., Detroit; adelinadetroit.com

Oak & Reel

On Feb. 14, the Milwaukee Junction restaurant, which was named the 2022 Hour Detroit Restaurant of the Year, is offering a four-course Prix Fixe menu for $115 per person. Gandy Dancer

The chef is offering menu features all Valentine’s Day weekend long. Your options include the Filet & Lobster Maxwell (a six-ounce chargrilled filet mignon, butter poached lobster, smashed redskins, asparagus, béarnaise), crab-stuffed salmon, and parmesan snapper and shrimp. Aurora Italiana

Enjoy three courses for $85 a person this Valentine’s Day. Entree choices include Bronzino Valentino, Salmon Scampi, Eggplant Parmigiana, Pollo Marsala, Filetto Di Manzo, and Grilled Lamb Chop. San Morello

Mabel Gray

Aurora on the Lake

On Valentine’s Day proper and the following Saturday, Aurora on the Lake will offer its standard menu alongside exclusive chef specials such as lamb chops, oysters and shrimp platter, and heart-shaped ravioli, among others. Café Cortina

One of Michigan’s most romantic restaurants is offering a four course prix-fixe dinner on Valentine’s Day. Choose from dishes like mixed wild mushrooms with fresh asiago and black truffle; roasted butternut squash with Michigan apples, chutney spice, and creme Fraiché; African lobster tail simmered in fresh san Marzano bisque and fresh basil; seasoned and char-grilled filet mignon, mushrooms, and black peppercorn sauce; and more. Kamper’s Rooftop Lounge

The $35 Surtido de Tapas (Tapas Trio) includes Hamachi crudo with spicy strawberry lèche, shishito and cracked corn-nuts; Ribeye carpaccio with crispy chorizo, red onions, manchego and crushed marcona almonds; and Lobster Croquettes (filling: shallots, fennel, chopped parsley, smoked paprika, lemon,butter) with Jamon aioli. The Detroit Club

The Detroit Club is celebrating Valentine’s Day with a week of specials. The Whitney

The meal begins with the hors d’oeuvres trio, which includes espresso-seared beef tenderloin au poivre, chilled shrimp with remoulade, and herbed chèvre in a phyllo cup, followed by your choice of lobster bisque, Little Gem Caesar Salad, or tomato bisque. There are a wide variety of entrees to choose from such as The Whitney Beef Wellington, filet mignon or petite filet surf and turf, and honey lavender chicken for $64-$119 a dish. The final course is dessert, which features your choice of The Whitney’s signature carrot cake, a trio of miniature pastries, and raspberry sorbet with fresh berries. The Detroit Japanese restaurant is offering ichigo hiramasa (hiramasa crudo, strawberry ponzu, and Fresno oroshi) for $16, kohitsuji to sakura miso (marinated lamb chops in sakura miso, with Japanese potato puree, and miso mustard) for $74, and a a Sake feature for $12 a glass. Le Suprême

Grey Ghost

In addition to the regular menu, Grey Ghost is offering a five-course dining experience for two this Valentine’s Day. The menu includes a variety of appetizers, main dishes, and desserts.
