Before Chartreuse Kitchen and Cocktails even opened, this recipe by Kaytee Quero was crafted as cocktail pairing for a collaborative dinner at The Root Restaurant with Chartreuse’s Executive Chef Doug Hewitt. The drink was so beloved that it earned a permanent spot on the menu when the restaurant opened its doors later in 2015.
1 ounce vodka
1 ounce chartreuse Yellow
1 ounce fresh squeezed lime juice
½ ounce honey syrup
Combine all ingredients into a cocktail shaker and add ice. Shake vigorously. Pour into a rocks glass over fresh ice. Garnish with lemon and lime peel.
