This pedestrian bridge, which was inspired by the Pure Michigan “M,” stretches 1,200 feet and stands between the peaks of McLouth and Disciples Ridge, approximately 118 feet above the valley floor.
The SkyBridge Michigan experience begins with a chairlift ride to the top of the mountain. From there, guests can take an open-air walk across the bridge for breathtaking views of the foliage and surrounding landscape. They can also brave a 36-foot section at the middle of the bridge that features a glass floor and an unobstructed look at ground below.
“With four-season appeal, SkyBridge Michigan is a major attraction for Boyne Mountain Resort, as well as the entire northern Michigan region,” Erin Ernst, Boyne Mountain Resort’s director of communications said in a press release. “The bridge brings an offering that’s extremely unique for our area. It’s an exciting must-do when planning a trip to northern Michigan, whether for families, couples, or friends.”
In addition to SkyBridge Michigan, visitors of Boyne Mountain Resort can enjoy a plethora of other attractions including Michigan’s largest indoor water park, Avalanche Bay, the 18,500-sqaure-foot Spa at Boyne Mountain, two golf courses, hiking trails, and much more.
