Metro Detroit Restaurants Serving Up Super Bowl Spreads

Chow down on smoked wings, tacos, meatballs, pizza, and more while watching the big game

Whether you’re cheering on the Kansas City Chiefs or the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Feb. 7, food can unite all fans. This year, leave the cooking to the pros  and check out these to-go Super Bowl spreads from metro Detroit restaurants.

Union Provisions

Union Joints — the restaurant group behind Gran Castor, Union Woodshop, Clarkston Union, Fenton Fire Hall, Honcho, and Vinsetta Garage — is offering Super Bowl packages at each of its eateries. Gran Castor’s Super Cuenco (Big Game) Especial includes items like a taco party kit and nachos; Union Woodshop’s Linebacker Package features 3 pounds of smoked wings and a potato skin station; the Union Red Zone Package at Clarkston Union is complete with bodega sandwiches and Flamin’ Hot Cheetos potato salad; and Vinsetta Garage is offering a deal with three take-and-bake pizzas, a pulled-pork slider station, and more. Packages feed eight to 12 people and range from $175 to $225. Alterations are not available. For an additional $48, Union Provisions is also offering cocktail packages that include eight cans of Union Mule. Andiamo is offering its Fan Fare packages, ranging from $24.95 to $29.95 a person, in honor of this year’s Super Bowl. The Traditional Fan Fare package includes items like chicken wings, chili, pulled pork macaroni and cheese, and meatballs. The Italian Fan Fare package includes items like lasagna, chicken Sicilian, and cannoli. Both packages serve about four people. You can order online until Feb. 4. Andiamo; see for locations

Just in time for the big game, Southwest Detroit restaurant El Asador is launching halal party trays. Choose from a selection of Mexican dishes, including a $22 taco tray with a dozen tacos of your choice and the $18+ nacho tray, which comes with refried beans, cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, onions, jalapeños, green olives, avocado, and sour cream. Mootz Pizzeria + Bar

To celebrate this year’s Super Bowl, Mootz Pizzeria + Bar is introducing The Super Bowl 55, a $55 package with enough food for you and your family to enjoy for the big game. The package includes buttery garlic knots, a dozen spicy wings, a snack-sized portion of the restaurant’s signature Nona’s meatballs, a specialty pizza, and a one-topping pizza. Joe’s Italian Take-out

This award-winning restaurant serves up fresh, handmade Italian food on the regular. You can take home signature dishes such as muffulettas and Italian subs for game day with the restaurant’s Super Bowl specials. The specials include ham and cheese muffulettas for $27, Italian muffulettas with mortadella, salami, and provolone for $32, and a 15-piece Italian sub platter for $55.
