Prime steaks, seafood, and inventive Italian cuisine are on the menu at a new fine dining restaurant inside Lakeview Hills, a country club and resort in the thumb of Michigan.

Emilio’s Prime Steakhouse opens this June in Lexington. The restaurant is named after founder Emilio Fabbri, who owned the country club for over 30 years. He’s also inspired three of the signature dishes.

There’s a cioppino-style brodetto, (fish stew) inspired by San Marino in Northern Italy, Fabbri’s birthplace, where families eat the stew to celebrate Christmas Eve. There’s also a lobster bisque made with cognac that’s served tableside, and if you’re in the mood for pasta, the Tagliatelle San Marino is made with a meat sauce recipe the Fabbri family has guarded for over a century.

The menu, which will highlight local and fresh ingredients, was crafted by Chef Francis Poissant. He’s no stranger to fine dining; his resume includes two very upscale hotels—the Royal Park in Rochester and the Townshend in Birmingham.

There’s also more than 200 wines to choose from, including rarities like the Daou Black Label and Chateau Haut-Brion of Medoc. The list was curated by general manager Fadi Anchor, who won several Awards of Excellence from Wine Spectator.

Lakeview Hills stayed with the family for a second generation, currently owned and staffed by many of Fabbri’s children.

“This restaurant is all about Emilio Fabbri. He wanted Lakeview Hills to be a fine dining destination in Lexington and my siblings and I couldn’t be happier to be able to deliver that promise to the community,” his son Tom Fabbri, who is also the president and CEO of Lakeview Hills, said in a press release.

Emilio’s Prime Steakhouse will start seating diners the first week of June at Lakeview Hills, located at 6560 Peck Road, Lexington. The club also includes a golf course with 36 holes, 35 hotel rooms, a fitness center and a Ballroom that can fit up to 300 people.
