My Dad’s Bar once sat right at the edge of Grosse Pointe and Detroit. It was a small, divey gem filled with vintage tables, kitschy posters, and a jukebox.
Though My Dad’s Bar is now closed, its legacy of celebrating dear old dad seven days a week lives on through this recipe for The Dadhattan cocktail, which is reminiscent of a Manhattan that’s simple to make and mildly sweet. Sound like someone you know? Grab a couple of chilled glasses this Father’s Day — or any day — and enjoy this drink with your old man.

- 5 dashes Angostura bitters
